My wife and I met online. Her name is Chelsea, and for months, we sent snail-mail and finally moved over to blogging back and forth as pen-pals. When I placed my trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior, believing that He had died and paid the penalty for all of my sins, I shared my faith with Chelsea digitally and proceeded to teach her what I could with Bible studies and later long essays about spiritual topics.
Years in, we still had never met in person, but when I would go into my community to share the gospel, I always encouraged myself by telling myself that I was talking to someone else’s Chelsea, someone that person deeply loved, and I was sharing the most important message that could ever touch that person’s ears.
Since then, we met got married, had a family, and if I’m following the end times calendar correctly, got raptured and are now in the presence of God. But I couldn’t go without trying to take some more into the Kingdom. You, dear reader, are someone’s chelsea, and I carry the burden of reaching you most seriously. If you will, do me one favor, though, and whenever you feel benefited by this site, please meditate on and give thanks for our great God who moved me to tears with a burden for you, that you might be comforted by the knowledge that you abide in the infinite, gracious, and sovereign hand of the One and Only God Almighty who fights for His people and leads them through the valley of the shadow of death.
Take courage.
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 5:10-11)
